Arrow Annual Totals of Fire Apparatus Built

I need the total number of fire appataus built per year in the United States from 2005 to present.

Not by brand or manufacturer - just total number of trucks per year.

Where can I find these numbers? Does anyone have a link to an organization that tracks these?

I would make that request to the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers Association.

Why do you need this, I dare say?

Your best bet would contact all the makers and get the numbers from them, IF they would tell you.

Unofficially, I was told that in 2009, the number of fire apparatus sold was about 5,500 and in 2010 the number was down to about 3,500. Don't know how much credence to put in this, but that's what I was told.

    Default Still searching...

You have to be a FAMA member to get the numbers. Since I am with a department, I can't get the info.
