Anyone in here one of the 42 that tested a few weeks ago? Heard rumor that they are going to hire 3-4 right away and 12 within a year...and if no one else tested with CHFD anyone else hear this rumor? Just wondering...

talked with a CHFD guy the other day and heard the guy who is ranked 1 took a job someplace else...and that they are hiring 2-4 and have "quite a few" going with the DROP program this year...like 10-12. Sounding better and better...

Go to Clevelandheightsfire.com and look at their department roster. They have 20 some guys with over 25 plus years on the job.

probably all in the DROP program but that doesn't mean they will replace everyone. I mean I am just guessing but with everywhere hurting for money I wouldn't be suprised.

anyone hear anything about CHFD? I've talked to a few CHFD guys when I'm at work but haven't heard anything great. Keep hearing that there are a lot of guys retiring but that's about it. No numbers or when.
