cleaning cabinet tracks?
Morning all-
Not sure exactly where to post this one, so here it goes:
What is the best way to clean interior cabinet tracks (like in an ambulance or walk-in rescue)? Seems the plexiglass doors are stiff as all getup, hard to move. They weren't that way when we bought the vehicle, it has gotten "gummed up" with dirt & dust (etc.) over the years... Would like to get the doors to slide easily, like when new, so we don't have injuries opening cabinets...
We're at a loss how to fix it... All ideas accepted... Thanks!

Toothbrush or similar vacuum and silicone
Have you called the box supplier???

PB Blast makes a dry lube that is almost clear when it dries. Works great on roll up doors, auto deploying steps and pull out steps. You can find it at Home Depot or Lowe's.

I know exactly what he is talking about.
I have used alcohol preps and a pair of needle-nose pliers to stick the prep down into the track and wipe it.
Then as others have said, give it a shot of a dry lube, it doesn't take much.
