An interesting video find. A DC response from long ago caught on film.
I think I see Harve on Engine 28
About 16 seconds into the clip.

"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

Hi Guys...............
Sorry I didn't get here sooner..... This time of year is busier than hell for me, between work and Motorsports........

Mike, Thank You. That was a trip watching that. One of the Guys on the Tall thing working on the Trolley Car Wires might have been my Great Uncle, who worked for the Streetcar Company...... I wasn't on Engine 28 though, I already had the best job in the Department: Day Work guy on the Floodlight Unit........

Whereas I always tend to turn conversations into fishing, Harve has a unique talent for turning any thread towards tractor pulls.. I bet that tractor could pull a bass boat like it was nothing!

O.K. I finally found it had to dig through dozens of old steam engine books. Thought it was so cool I made it my avatar. Anyway look closely at the back of the engine.Yessir folks there he is young Chief Woods feeding the firebox on one of first self propelled Merryweather Steam Pumper Engines.
