    Default Duracell Battery Donation

Everybody see those adds where Duracell is showing the Firefighters and saying they are going to be donating batteries to help us out and stuff? Anybody think they would ever see anything out of that whole ordeal? Yeah we didnt either until the Major got a surpise from the delivery man.. Duracell donated Two HUGE boxes of Batteries to our Fire Department to be used in our SCBA and Flashlights and such..

Nice to hear that you recieved some free stuff, which is always good.

Haven't heard of anyone around here getting any batteries as of yet.

Thumbs up Got a package yesterday

We received a box of batteries yesterday afternoon. A ton of AA and AAA batteries that we can use in some of our equipment. Many thanks to the Duracell folks for the donation!

From my understanding, and what I've bought, there is a code on the package that you send to DuraCell. Then you pick what VFD you would want that/those donated batteries to go to.

I don't think you can just "ask" for them. They have to be donated through a link and package code.

Ahhhhh so that's where the buttload of Duracells came from.....

Noticed them the other day and didn't even think about the Duracell donations.

    Thanks!

My department got the box of AAs and AAAs. Unfortunately every PASS device, Heads up display, and voicebox we have uses a 9V battery.

I am thinking of contacting Duracell and suggest they include 9Vs in the packages as well.

I was sitting with the Chief this afternoon we received our box of batteries from Duracell, very excellent indeed, too bad it was sent to our old hall that hasn't been inhabited for over 10 years... and to a Fire Chief one of our Senior members doesn't even know... All the same, thanks Duracell!
