It shows a 1901 box alarm assignment responding thru an intersection. Four engines and a ladder go by powered by horses and steam.
It is amazing the progress we have made since then in apparatus alone. I think about the changes since I started in 1983 when we had screw jacks on our truck. Where will we be in another 50 years, I probably won't last that long but anyway.

More changes in the last 10 years than in the last 50 years. By the time 2020 rolls around, it will all changed several more times.

I couldn't begin to tell or say how much has changed since I started out.
