Makes sense.. Run letter = new job
Oh and yeah, I know for sure that I'm passing the run. Even if I have to do it with both legs in a potatoe sack and blindfolded. But thanks, I'll wait.

Yeah I hope so too, I meant what % of people on the list. I bet it's pretty high considering the score we are up to. I know that no one knows the answer yet.
Just got the first letter in the mail to go online for PD processing, not happy about it. Makes me nervous for some reason.

Yea this has me a bit nervous now lol. I'm 5'9" 190. I'm not shredded by any stretch of the imagination but I'm not fat either. I've got my 4 mile pace down to 8:30 with still 8 weeks left to train and regularly do RushFit, stairs w/75lbs, full body light weight circuits, and HIIT runs. Now I'm starting to feel like it's still not enough. Maybe it's cuz the academy is so close but I'm over analyzing every little aspect if my training and now I can add my weight to the pile lol.
Good luck everyone. Hope to finally meet most of you in July.

I think Ive spoken to my investigator more over the past 3 days then I have in the past year. She reached out saying my packet was under review and that I need to send in something. She said my packet being reviewed is a good thing, but of course didn't commit to me being in the next class lol. Also, I think as we all know by now, she confirmed July 14th as the start date.

Do any of you guys have a problem with one of your feet going numb while running? It normally hits around the 30 minute mark and goes away pretty quickly after I'm done running.

Same boat as you, the closer we get the more nervous I am about am I doing enough to get in shape. I'm working out so much that it feels like a second job and it still feels like I need to do more.

I'm 6'2 198-200 LBS, I would like to get down to 190 by the time the academy starts just so the push ups and running are a little easier. I'll be 30 in October, the body doesn't heel as fast as it used to lol.

Thats kind of concerning. I would consider seeing a doctor about that.

Are you stretching enough before you run? If you are then it might be an impact problem. I'd go to Jack Rabbit Sports and make sure your shoes aren't the culprits.

Ain't that the damn truth. I just turned 31 in March and everything hurts. That and junk food doesn't just melt away with training anymore. I used to be able to whatever the hell I wanted as long as I kept training. That's not the case anymore lol.

Is stretching after you run just as important?

Ha, you really think so? There are a lot of other factors about the academy that will wear on you (lack of sleep, mental, academics, etc...). Don't get too ahead of yourself, and be a little humble. I'm sure your workouts are good and all.

Come sign up for the spartan ultra beast (26+ miles in the Vermont Mountains with more than 30 tough obstacles).. Maybe the experience will humble you.
