Hey guys getting the surgery done to get the rod outta my leg. Only a one day recovery then bback to the gym. Hopefully medical won't have a problem. Can I bring the appropriate paperwork with me the day of the medical to show I'm all cleared by my orthopedist and primary care? Don't think I could get away with not mentioning since I have about a 1-1/2 inch scar on my leg. Staying hopefull!

I got a 100 on the exam#2000 and just passed my cpat last month with a year and 6months left for this test to expire. So you should be good with a score of 100.

If you're fully gung-ho, yes, you'll need a 100%. If I were you, I'd be headed for EMS, the only sure way....

As of this moment, the highest number reported on the forum was low 1700's. there is one more big run scheduled, those letters haven't gone out yet.

Yeah man get as much paperwork as you can for all surgeries. I disclosed all mine and got X-rays at BHS of all my hardware during my initial medical. I kept the hardware but I personally only had 4 screws. I turned in pre-op appointment notes, operation notes, and post operation notes for all of my surgeries. They seemed to really only be interested in the actual surgical notes. (Literally exactly what the surgeon did, cut by cut). Be sure to bring copies of this every time you go to BHS. I brought mine every time. They forget to tell you they need it sometimes. After my initial medical, I got a call saying I needed to come in and see an Ortho at BHS to get cleared. Unfortunately, I had to redo the stairs so they just asked me to come in a little earlier on the day I was already scheduled to redo the stairs. He read all my notes, made copies, then looked at each surgical site and all X-rays shot by BHS. Took all of 20 minutes and I was clear. Hope this helps man. Good luck!

There were 96 I believe that showed up. The other 4/5 people either rescheduled or deferred from what I heard. When you are brought into the auditorium you're split into an Alpha and a Bravo group, roughly 45 in each. After settling in you will hear from the di's, fitness unit, and anyone else that needs to get some pertinent information across. After that Alpha is brought out first for their run then Bravo right after. I believe 4 guys failed and were brought back to BHS.
Everyone is then back in the auditorium until you're called in to see cid. You get your offer letter from them and the probie manuals on your way back to the auditorium.
Strongly recommend everyone heeding the advice of being 1 hour early. I'm glad I was. Don't be late. Don't be that guy. Expect to be there until at least 12 if you're in one of the larger run dates.
The 17th is admin processing day and quartermaster day will follow within the days immediately after admin day. The academy starts and we swear in on Dec. 29th. Hope this answers everyone's questions.
Best of luck to everyone with an upcoming run and those still waiting.
I just want to confirm, is there a pacer running at a 13:00 minute pace?

Highest we know about is 1700-1720. There should be another batch any day now.

There's still 2 1/2 years on the list, you should be fine.

I scored a 99 and I'm sitting at 34XX. Waiting, waiting, and waiting, but looks like if you're in this range you should get a shot at some point! My brother is on the job and has spoken to some higher ups that say they should go well beyond my list number of 34XX.

Take this with a grain of salt. I trust my brother that that is what he heard, I don't know exactly who he heard it from or if those sources are valid, but I'm hoping and have a feeling that they are accurate!

...also shorter academies and 3 per year sound like a good bet!
