This is disappointing to hear. PT ain't going to be indoors during the academy. Not to mention a favored saying of many instructors is "if it ain't raining, it ain't training."

Just got back from morning FAP. Like others have said, they are not playing games, that **** was no joke. We did a lot of extra pushups cause some guys simply couldnt count reps in sync. Do yourselves a favor and pay attention to the instructors during PT. Do EXACTLY what he tells you to do, or else you will be hating life lmao.. On the bright side, I had fun, feels good to get the taste of the academy life. Train like your life depends on it all the time

oops. i meant front delt raises instead of 'front lat raises'.

and romanian deadlift instead of 'roman deadlift'.

romanian deadlift, squat press, front delt raise, reverse/regular curl, bent row, push up/row were all done with 20lb hose.

todays PM FAP was brutal, awakening, and enjoyable if you're really trying to push yourself to the next level. hard to remember the whole workout cause it felt forever.

warm up, high knees, butt kicks, jog in place, etc.
    25 jack, 10 pushups (4 sets)

    5 burpees
    10 squats with hose
    25 jacks
Bent over row with hose right arm x20
Bent over row with hose left arm x20
ladder pushups to 5 then going into squat after every ladder step
    (3 sets)

    5 burpees with dead lift
    shoulder press x15
    25 jacks
    reverse curls x15
    40 mountain climbers
    tricep extension x15
5 pushups holding at low medium and high plank (most reps missed here)
    (X 3 sets)

    10 burpees - end
there were planks incorporated but i can't remember where. and I'm sure I'm missing some stuff and mixed some of it around.

I guessing the ladder push ups with the squats they make you do one push up and one squat up to five and back?

So almost the same as the fdny training videos on youtube but with hose pack? It sounds tough but after you finish it I bet you feel like you can push thru anything

Which videos are you guys referring to. I think I have the right one but wanted to make sure.

Also what do you guys think about them sending out cpat orientations into the 4600, do you think they that means they will get through the 98 and maybe 97s like cassano projected early on?

Yiup today's FAP pretty much sums it up for everybody here. Everyone was humbled. I came to believe that those instructors might be legit robots from the future. I tried my best to be at strict form and not crack. Was even in the front right by the instructor. What was that for. Got back an hour ago and ended up filling my tub with ice and Epson salt. Today was fun but cruel if that even makes any sense. The academy is gonna be the greatest challenge of my life for me but I can't wait to overcome. Let's get it fellas

PS: "Them sneakers are not allowed! Leave that **** for the motherf*ckin hippies in Williamsburg!!" Lol too funny but I didn't even have the energy to laugh at that point
