CPAT Prep packet should be some of the first mail you'll receive. A few weeks after that you'll receive the letter for CPAT Orientation and the Practice dates.
Thanks. I already got the letter for CPAT orientation via email, going Sunday. Never got any prep packet in regular mail.

Anyone in the latest batch of CPAT get any snail mail?

i did. after watching the videos on the fdny website where the DI is constantly checking his watch, i figured i'd time the workout to get a sense of the pacing.
i've also timed myself doing the routine 3 times this week and it always comes out around 40 minutes.
that's because i am not holding push up position for long periods of time, which we did that day.
i'm just trying to get through it without missing a rep...not yet.

    i'm good on the legs.
it's the burpees into push ups that get me. that, and the last push up/row into burpees.

CPAT orientation at the Rock last night, wow!

I may have limited experience with the FDNY and especially the academy, but I have vast knowledge of the Marine Corps and there seems to be a lot of blue falcons in the upcoming classes.

I picked up at least 4 pieces of garbage in the auditorium that were carelessly left by people who apparently did not hear "do not bring food into the the auditorium."

Following simple instructions is going to be the death of some people.

It's a shame, but some people are just born without some decency.

    Looking for some guidance

Back when I got on EMS I was being evaluated by my primary care dr for a possible benign cardiac murmur that he "thought" he heard. Long story short I went for a workup and got an EKG and ECG and everything was completely normal with nothing to report and no restrictions for anything at all. Metrotech has my original letter that says everything above from when I got on EMS. My question is am I going to have to go back and redo those test even though my original letter says everything is healthy and normal and that I have no restrictions and no follow up needed?

Hi Guys! I'm sitting at #44xx, and haven't received anything yet. I realized they probably have my old address from when I took the exam. Who should I go about contacting??

    Thanks a lot guys!

Has nothing to do with being an enviro-nazi my man.

Tens of thousands of firemen have taken the oath in that auditorium, some of them made the ultimate sacrifice. So for a dirtbag to just leave trash on the floor like that shows the utter carelessness and lack of respect.

Maybe I'm a little into it, but I look at the Rock in the same sense as Parris Island. That's hallowed ground gents, show some class and respect.

4 to 1 would be 1280 list numbers which would mean up to 3228 for next class. Wish it were so but they are only up to 301x on the medicals so far and doesn't look like any more are going out. Looks closer to 3 to 1 right now. 2900ish. Still no medical date for me and I'm close to 301x.

Good luck to all the guys prepping for the cpat, be prepared, positive and lastly patient.

Anyone's investigator reach out to them recently? Seems like some of our packets are starting to make their way upstairs.

Good to know the process is moving along.
