Anyone know if FDNY is NFPA complaint? Or if they just follow there own standard?

I believe the FDNY is NPFA complaint, but I'm curious if you are asking this as to make the connection about your previous certifications?

off topic.... iam a law and order svu (the old ones with stabler) fan and was just wondering when they go to a crime scene and there are fire trucks there does the studio rent them from the department? or are they old retired ones? they look pretty legit. i know its a question from left field but brooklyns question about his crap made me feel a little better about asking it. thanks buddy

the dept allows them to rent X amount of vehicles. the same goes for PD and EMS. usually when filming they just request a truck. usually the dept doesn't have a problem as long as they are used in a good light.

Not really, fat people will just buy two of everything from now on and on. And also I'm tired of Bloomberg telling everyone how to live their lives. If he really gave a damn about health and obesity start a crusade to make healthy food cheaper and more accessible. Anyone who is stuck on soda, don't drink it for a few months and one day have some, it's like drinking syrup. Same with McDonalds, don't eat for a few months and get some one day, you will realize what disgusting trash Micky D's is. I haven't eaten Micky D's in years.

So it's just another strike against the small mom and pop shops. While people waddle to get a big gulp instead of a soda from a corner store. I just don't see it flying
