I'm in the same boat. But from the sound of that line, it sounds like something from recruitment.

Anybody else get a letter from DCAS about reviewing the Test Validation Board report? Allowing candidates that protested questions to review why the proposed answers were chosen or switched?

In the 300's and I haven't received that email either...but it seems we are not alone, so I'm not going to get worried over it just yet.

Just got some weird official DCAS letter in the mail about showing up for a hearing on the questions I protested. I wonder If I can protest the last section.

I really hope he is still there if I get my shot at the Rock someday. I would love to partake in a workout led by LT. Pete, every video I've seen of him on youtube is motivating.

The protest is open to everyone taking the test on a individual basis. Has nothing to do with the outcome of the hiring process in an entirety, just on the individual.

Lt. Pete is awesome - an incredibly motivating individual. A lot of the other PT instructors put you down - Lt. Pete builds you up.

And I don't know about a cup of coffee, but he will most certainly tell you to help yourself to a big cup of shut the **** up!

Don't know if anyone is watching at this exact moment but if you tune in on the marathon behind Michael Bloomberg, you'll see some the instructors out there supporting the runners from FDNY.

A question for everyone in the current class. I know I've heard your graduation is on 12/6, but when do you guys finish the academy and enter the field? I've heard it might be the week before that?

Dude no offense, but what was there to protest on this exam? This exam was a GIVE AWAY and was crazy easy. infact, it had NOTHING to do with any pre-existing knowledge of anything. all you had to do was learn about the hydro verter and answer simple questions about it. So what was there to protest?

This is the problem, don't worry about the protest, concentrate on your exam. This is only on a individual basis, it has nothing to do with anyone, except the person protesting. Who cares????

12/5 is graduation, that's all we heard. He just told us to prepare to go to work the next day, since it will be Sunday, but he wasn't sure.

Guys are just a lil paranoid thats all (albeit for good reason). Just hoping that nothing stupid happens and/or nobody opens their mouth and cause a stir that'll hold everyone else up. The word "protest" just does'nt sit well at this point. Protest+court+investigation+delay="wtf man".

it has something to do with everyone because it can change the outcome of someone elses test, and put them ahead of my exam on the list.

I can't even dignify your logic with an actual response since you're the jerk who feels wishy washy about leaving his current job for this one if he has to wait an extra 6 months. You need to shut your mouth.

Reality Check: 2 months is still a good amount of time to make improvements, but don't go nuts. An injury at this point in the game would be bad news all around.
