ALSO FDNY DID NOT HAVE MY INFO in their database, maybe its a good idea for those of us who are still playing the waiting game to call and verify that they do have your info in their database.
What number did you call to find out?

The Social Security office no longer provides detailed earnings statements as of 01/01/2014. The form must be mailed to Baltimore for a certified earning statement. Has anyone done this and how long did it take to receive it?

Also, the new price is $134 for a itemized detailed copy that includes past employers and addresses.

So original run letter states not to bring anything extra because there will be no lockers available. Re-scheduled run letter states to "bring extra set of clothes", not specifying a suit. So I think I'm about to pack like three different sets of clothes and have them in the car. Lol. But I'm guessing a smart thing would be to bring a lock in case lockers magically appear that we weren't originally going to get. For the processing part, can someone who already processed give is a good idea what we should bring since we aren't getting a few days to get things together. From what I know you need the following:

    Residency proof
    $9 money order (blank)
    Obedience to all orders
    Haircut
    Lock
    Change of "clothes"
    Food

    What else fellas?

To be honest, I had to do this for NYPD and it took like 3-4 months for S.S to return form in mail.

Anyone have any experience with rescheduling their psych? I have mine scheduled for this Saturday but I unfortunately had a death in the family and the burial is that morning. I know the notice says you just have to send an email to CID, and I called to confirm that. I was told I'd get an automated response confirming my request to reschedule and then I would receive another notice somewhere down the line with a new date. I'm just nervous I'll slip through the cracks though. How reliable do you think CID is that they'll definitely send me another date? I'm in good standing to possibly make the summer class and I don't want anything to delay that.
