For references do they want the address of where they live or work or either one. Also, do they call your references or just mail them a questionnaire to the address you provide?

I used residential addresses for 2 (both were retired) and 1 work address. I don't think it matters as long as they get it. Also I believe they just mail them.

Ok thanks. I was just asking because it generally states to write the name and address of your references and my ex manager was hesitant to give me her home address lol.

Inevitably someone in your company will be late or complain about the late night/early morning situation and the DIs will handle accordingly.

It's Wednesday and he's asking about afternoon CFR… probably has CFR.

Aren't you supposed to be in class?
Hah yea, I had afternoon CFR. Thanks for the advice. Seems the only solution is what you said; suck it up. Sleeping in wednesday sure is nice though.

Have had a few "buddy fuc*ers" as they like to call them. People who don't put the effort in while doing push ups, workouts or anything for that matter.

DON'T BE THAT GUY! WE ALL DISLIKE THAT GUY!!! We dislike him/her very much.

It's around there, sometimes you might not know if you're claustrophobic until you put a blacked out mask on. And it's not just wearing it and sitting in a circle. Some being in a building that you can't see in freaked them out. Sucks but wataya gonna do

Do people quit in groups? Weekly or something?

I feel like we never hear one guy quit etc. it's always a few at a time. Must be like you all said, some don't like blacked out face masks. Guess it must have been blacked out face mask day the other day.

Congrats to the guys still in the academy. And congrats for those that gave it a shot and realized it wasn't for them

It can appear that way because department orders come out 1-2 times a week and all resignations since the previous DO will appear on the next. There are a few events that precipitate a bunch of resignations. The people who can't handle PT or the academy life quit almost immediately, and then a few weeks in when you start doing real training there's always another group that goes. Once training begins they try to get a few big things out of the way immediately. Unfortunately that's how some people learn that they're incredibly claustrophobic, or afraid of heights.

After the first week I thought it would be the longest 18 weeks ever. Now it seems as if the week flies by and the hands on are a lot of fun. Not easy but nice to actually do the stuff you've read about. Can't lie I was nervous when I was about to do a few things but when you want it bad enough you just say eff it and do it, then you realize it wasn't as bad as you thought.

First off get there early, bring as much if the paperwork as you can and make copies prior too getting there. They require originals so make sure you have those. They will work with you on residency credits (as long as you have documents) I'm mostly talking to the military guys here - official college transcripts in lieu of W2's and other such things are acceptable (at least according to Peggy Quinn and my investigator). Don't forget the 75$ Monet order, they can take the finger prints at a later time I suppose but why postpone anything. Have the info on your references on hand - be honest on your paperwork. INTERGRITY!!! The only thing I am missing is an official copy of my H.S transcripts. Oh, yeah and the word on the street is 2015 for us. I'm sitting in the 15##'s by the way. Be good all.

Hey is that for early 2015 or late 2015 ? Also do you know what range list number that is for? Thanks pal!

Though it was not said for certain it was implied that Jan 2015 was the date. As I mentioned my list number is in the 15##'s but I believe she was speaking to people with list numbers going up to around very early 2000's. Hope that helps. Keep up the training.

Met with my investigator this morning to turn in the last of my documents. I had to get a bit funky to prove my residency but my investigator said I should be good to go. If anyone else had some extenuating circumstances that is making it difficult to prove residency just pm me and I'll tell you what I acquired and how. Also just to be clear, I was not in the military so that was not why I was having trouble.

Still holding onto the hopes that I may squeak into July's class. My investigator wouldn't even entertain the question. Said simply he doesn't have a clue and won't venture to guess either cuz it could go either way.

Per the orders only 11 resignations so far. The higher # posted here could also include injuries or the orders are out of date, or 20 is wrong.
