I think you can appeal one more time but you have get a clean bill of health from your doctor. I can't remember the exact procedure but when I went for my medical, Frank said you could take it three times now.

Yeah that's what I though. Still have to go for my 2nd try at the stairs and I'm starting to get sick anxiety over this being basically my final shot at this lol. SOBs at the medical office actually made me go for a stress test/echo cardiogram that I'm currently battling with my insurance on or else it's $900 out of my own pocket. Oh and everything came back NORMAL.

Sorry, I know this has been answered before but I could not find it with a search. For the MEDICAL, what is the attire? The letter says sneakers and gym gear, but do most people wear that under business casual? Or just go in gym gear.

You could go in gym gear, or could wear it underneath business casual. Some guys came in suits with a change of gym clothes - not necessary, but nobody will give you grief for doing so. You might look a little funny in a long line of guys with gym clothes on and you in a suit, but that's it.

actually its recommended that you go with gym clothes over the business casual so after the stairs you can just take off the gym gear and proceed to the other stations looking sharp, without the hassle of getting undressed.

Lol low blow....just wear your gym gear and stop over analyzing it. I passed it the first time and I just wore gym gear. No one said a word. They might if you go business casual.

I would give your investigator a ring once a month just to keep updated (and mostly for piece of mind) but minus that expect it all to be very last minute. We all know how this process works by now; Expect nothing, be prepared for everything.

To the CPAT guys that got to see our roll call; I hope it amps you up because it amps us up lol.
More CPAT trainees watching us tonight too but we got away clean and quick tonight lol you know what I mean MTK

Yes. Each "practice" on the real course counts as a valid attempt at it.
If "we" go for a retrial are we gonna for the whole thing or just "intentional racism" part?

Just read half of the article and got too ****ed off to finish it. What the hell does Al Sharpton have to do with anything? he is not an elected official, he is not qualified in anything, he literally is paid to use the race card to extort money. What if someone wanted to call some like white power redneck as "expert witness". I hope they do call him, so they can make total fools of themselves. Someones should tell him that just because he got a gastric bypass doesn't mean he doesn't have to work out, his head is literally bigger than his torso. That person who failed the run 8 times wouldn't be able to carry his giant head out of a fire. How does someone proclaim themselves as an authority and then somehow we all have to go along with it because it would poetically correct not to do so.

My memory is hazy and I don't have the time to go back through the news stories, but as I recall: The city appealed parts of the case. That appeal was heard by 3 judges. They overturned the original decision and called for a complete retrial of that with a new judge. The main thing that they appealed was the charge of intentional discrimination.

My understanding is they didn't go after the whole thing because it'd be hard for them to prove that there was no unintentional discrimination, and since they aren't fighting to get rid of the PH remedy it doesn't really matter either way. The retrial is about saving face and trying to set the record straight as they see it. It's not that controversial to admit that hiring practices of the past may have unintentionally benefitted/hurt different groups, but they vehemently deny ever doing that purposefully, and that's why they pursued the appeal and are now going to trial again.

Every investigator is different. Some send them out right away, some a couple of months after your initial meeting and some wait to the last minute.

When talking to the investigators about pushing my wedding back (was mid July). Apparently the 14th was a "possible" start date. June was out of the question and July 7th was highly unlikely.

I was under the impression - based on this thread - that the start date was July 28. Suit day 21st. Only reposting what I read a half dozen or so pages back.

    The earlier the better.

    More packets soon?!

Yea what I read was start date being the 21st also. I guess the 14th is definitely possible also though.
