yea MMR, tetanus, which they'll give you if you don't have and a very recent(this is unlikely) TB test. Otherwise they test you at your medical and tell you when to come back and have the test read. If you pass everything at your medical and bring the documents you basically know that day if you are good to go, save for blood test, drug test and the TB test results

I actually got the paper from social security today. For the past 5 years it's only $25. The application comes with a price list on it. Also if you want it certified it's only $15, not $32. So total for 5 yrs certified is only $40. But i was told i had to mail it in, that no offices just hand them out anymore. And that can take from 4-6 wks to 4 months.

That's how you read at the academy. They assign readings, you do them. The chapters are not read in order.

Yeah I believe so, only in person. Get to the office before they open and it can be a 15 min ordeal. Go 15 mins after they open and you'll be there for 2 hours.

what you need is the itemized statement of earnings. it is in fact 102$ and you can get it in the office. i got mine less than 2 months ago. i paid with a money order. go tot the office and dont mail it in. here is the link of the form you need to fill out.

Spoke to my friend last night who's a Lt and mentor, he confirmed 3 classes a yr.

He also asked if I got contacted yet, I said no I'm 46xx, so it probably won't be for at least a year or more. He said no it will be much sooner, start your pushups now.

I had my Mentee info session this morning at 10am. Lt. Casiola, the head of health and fitness at the rock, confirmed that the date of the July class would be July 14. He said the runs would start 2 weeks before the scheduled start of the academy which would bring us to June 30 and the runs are scheduled approximately 100 people at a time on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and then if they need more people after that, they will schedule additional days until they reach the ideal 320 to start the class. There was no mention of 3 classes a year, but he did say the those around my number, 16** would realistically be looking at "January's" class. Also, the representative from BHS (Bureau of Health Services) told a guy there who was around 2100, that he probably would not here from them in regards to the medical, until November or December of 2014. That leads me to believe that my number range, 16**, will probably be called sometime during the middle of the summer for the medical and looking to be hired for the class after that. And that's all I got ta say about that

Just out of curiosity, did they allow you time to ask individual questions to any of the depts (CID, BHS, etc...) after all was said and done? They told us we could at the one I went to, but after the tour of the academy, they had all gone home. I was kinda ticked, caused I legitimately wanted to engage someone about something.

Yes, they did allow us to ask questions. Most of then were mentors or privies OTJ. The big line was waiting to speak to BHS. And in Regards to the guys asking about the tour: I'm not sure where you are in the process, but if you signed up for the mentorship program, they offer a Mentee info session where they bring in a bunch if different groups to answer any questions you may have and then at they end the take you on a small tour. Pretty much just standing in the middle and pointing out what buildings are for what, nothing big but cool

they are expecting to get 320 from list #s 720-1400? Hard to believe. Are they going for smaller classes?

They still have all of may to give medicals to candidates and still have enough time to get them run letters in the first to second week in june.

How far in advance do they send run letters?

    Default Earnings Statement

I'm getting different answers when it comes to the earning statements. One person's post a while back said the most recent 5 years of statements while another person said statements from 2007-2012. Anyone can definitively say which one it is? Thanks.

Ugh dammit. I guess they saw the low turnout on our day and just bailed. I really wanted to talk to BHS. Fml man. In many ways...
