NOTHING... there's gotta be a guy at his computer with all the email addresses ready to go and he just sits there until 5 o'clock, clicks "send and then gets up and goes home.

Yea grizzle i think that's how it is too. They do that because as soon as one persons confirms a letter all the other candidates start calling their investigator. At least that slows down the initial rush probably

Might not be anything until next Monday or even after the run. Plus you have to consider the recyc's. A lot of us in 1000+ might not make the July class unless enough people fail, decline or defer.

This is a somewhat pessimistic view only 24 hours after the first run letters hahaha. Impact of recycles, promos, and PHs at this point are minimal. I doubt they filled the 320 spot class with less than a 100 list #'s. Lets just assume the bureaucrat in charge of pushing the send button on all these life changing emails might not care quite as much about it as we do.

graduation was amazing. Over the last 18 weeks my heart never raced as fast as it did when we were walking in to the auditorium to the bag pipes playing and the people applauding.

It's funny they sent out run letters for July the same day we wrapped everything up. Keep training guys, it is all worth it.

Hope you're right, I hate being a realist but I've been burned too many times by putting all my hopes in one basket. Nothing I want more then this right now, trust me.

Fitness award is given based on a formula combined of your pushup, situp, 1.5, pull up, and fst. The fitness winner did the fastest fst time ever I believe and did 114 pushups to a cadence. Top pull up was someone else with 28 and the same guy who did 28 pull ups did 62 situps in 60 sec. The fastest 1.5 was 7:55. To win you have to be well rounded and a freak of nature lol. I'm pretty sure the fitness winner ran sub 8min or close to it.
Mtk could probably tell you the valedictorian's exact avg but I'm pretty sure it was north of 97. He had a great speech today, Alpha leads the way!

And if you don't have black socks on, and the DIs catch it, you and your squad will pay the price.
Black bag, go out and try and look for one that suits you, you don't want a big one. It gets to be annoying when you are are in a hurry trying to squeeze into your chair with a huge bag. Plus all you need it for is 2 binders, facepiece, and bottle of water. I don't think there is anything else, maybe someone that's in now can refresh my memory. I think the one I had was a 24 or a 26 inch bag.

    Awesome - Thank you!

Which style of knee pad did you or anyone else prefer? Knee pads with straps or were they sleeve style?

Did anyone have a preference on brand of sock? Smartwool, HeatGear, etc?

What's the sit up like in the academy? How far do you come up? Is someone holding your feet? Hands behind head or across chest?

Hundred plus push-ups isn't as hard to imagine as the 5:27 mile on the split time. That's incredible.

28 pull ups also seems doable - not for me but for someone. Feel like other classes guys were doing in the 50s. That's like crossfit workout numbers.
