July will be another important month for us. That's when the city's new fiscal year starts and we should see what the budget for the department looks like.

Does anyone know what the official last day of the exam is? I'm curious when we can start comparing notes on our different experiences…
Good luck to all those waiting to take it.

It's been over 48 hrs, nearing 72, and I still don't have the option to schedule for the review session on the PSI website. Also, another thing of concern is that the exam name states FDNY Entrance Exam (5-1-C) when I'm pretty sure that the exam notice had FDNY Entrance Exam (1-1-B). I'm going to call up PSI today and sort this out. But I must say, this is very disconcerting.
6019- was sitting at 13xx
2000- now sitting at 18xx

I just got off the phone with Brittany at PSI and she said the exam name shouldn't be of concern. I hope she's right. This is really bothering me, but I guess I'll have to take her word for it. Damnit.

I read somewhere, that the city wants to have a class of 300-325 every 18-20 months. That would be over 3000 FF's in 4 years. Anyone think thats realistically gonna happen?

I just finished speaking to Paul mannix and he said the only information that has been channeled to him was that if you are a candidate that doesn't show up for the exam, psi or dcas can arrange for you to take the exam on a different date. Wtf is going on really this bs is Turning into a circus show. I thought if you missed the exam your DONE. Now you have a chance to reschedule for a later date huh? He said if this is going on then it just might be possible that you can schedule to take the exam on may but he will look into it a little further. Just keep an eye on his website.

How long before we can start complaining about having to take the exam in the first week or two and how we should be able to get a redo ?

Maybe those that showed up when they were supposed to can complain so we can get an extra couple of points. Call it something like "actually giving a ****" credit.
