Just a heads up, I went to my local SS office and tried to get the last 5 years SS detailed earnings statement (2009-2013). I was told 2013 is not yet available. It will be available when your employer sends the W2's to you. My intake interview is on 2/12/14. I'm going to wait until the end of the month when I get my W2, then go back to the SS office. Thought this might save a trip for someone.

Well, I guess it wouldn't have been right to break the theme of the last several years and have the the run go on as scheduled!

Thursday is fixing to be a long day with both runs now on same date... It can't come soon enough.

You mean you wouldn't want to do it for free....like some others have stated?

It shouldn't delay the letters for the 15th. We going to have to wait until the 9th anyway so they can get a better idea of how many invites need to sent out.

I was told once that I should just 'give up,' go home, join the volunteers and do it for free.

My reply was that the 'idea is to get paid to do it...'

YES! Yes in the 490's! Man I was so scared with all this nonsense that they would never reach me or any of us but guys, you have to hold on! If I'm in the 9th, imagine for the 15th.

Just received an email saying upon completing the run I must provide 3 examples of current residency. Does it have to be any particular months or just the most recent bill?

Not sure, I got the same email tonight and was originally scheduled for tomorrow. It does say if you've already submitted it, there is no need to contact them. Now I'm scared and confused though.

I also received an email, high 400's. Did everyone else receive a separate "residency requirement" email? Quite nervous that my small discrepancy was never resolved. Good luck all...

EDIT: Apologies, I didn't notice others posted about the residency email, I'm sure that my situation is fine by now. Tomorrow i will contact my investigator.

JUST GOT MY LETTER!! Oh man so excited!! Getting over this pretty rough cold but even if my nostrils are spewing snot the whole run I don't give a *****! I'll do it!!

I also got the letter about the residency. The last line states though "There is no need to contact your Investigator if you have already submitted 3 proofs; you will be notified if additional documentation is required." So I'm gonna gather my documents just in case but since we did the investigation do we still need this? Kinda confused about that.

Lastly I just want to thank everyone on here. Regular posters and guys OTJ, you've been a huge help to me and I'm sure a lot of other people who browse this thread. My gratitude is endless and I will be sure to reflect my appreciation for everyone here in the work I do. I could not be any more happy!

It also says at the bottom if we already submitted the proofs then we dont need to. I know I already gave 3 recent proofs to my investigator last year. I'll check with her tomorrow I guess. Either way, I think its just (any) 3 recent statements from that list. (1 each), 1 month only.

I guess if it was checked off on the checklist during the intake interview we should be good for current residency.

Thursday looks like it will be jam packed. Looking forward to meeting some of you and possibly entering the academy with y'all. Thursday is all I've been thinking about and I can't wait. Good luck and let's do this! Our journey together begins Thursday!

Sorry to the guys on the cusp 600-800s but for someone around my number I think getting to 500 gives us a real good chance for the next class w EMS and ph being exhausted and taking a big chunk of OC guys barring a catastrophic amount of recycles

Hey gents, so you guys in the high 400's are running on the 9th? And there is definitely a run on the 15th? I'm sitting in just about the lowest 530's and the pucker-affect is registering somewhere between a 9 and a 10 on a sliding scale from 1-10.
