Some people said you don't need the abstract bc the investigator can get it themselves, but personally I went to the dmv and got one. Make your investigators job easier and they will return the favor. For me, the ss office I went to took money orders only. That was good bc you need a couple of money orders anyway so get them all at once.

    Bottom of page 3
maybe I'm just being a little slow today, but I don't see were it says anything about 3 consecutive classes? I hope your right about this though!

This says preliminary budget and was issued back in march of 2013. Are there more recent budget proposals?

Ah I found it. It's at the bottom of page 4, not 3.

"The Department expects to run three consecutive academy classes of 320 recruits each year through 2014. In Fiscal 2015 the Department expects to achieve the firefighter budgeted headcount."

That budget report was from march of last year. The idea was thrown out a while ago as per a chief.

Doubtful that it will happen but you never know.

Question for OTJs and recent grads. The binders they give are the most cumbersome objects ever (probably purposely). Did you see anyone put their material into their own binders? I have all white binders that are smaller but fit everything but don't want to get called out for it. Thanks.

I wouldn't do that! Keep them in the binders they gave them to you in...they are like that for a reason.

Just finished my psych, if I ever I have to list my entire work history again I may just start hearing voices. Such a redundant test.

As long as they're white and fit everything you should be in the clear.

You have the right idea, it's just a specific circumstance where you can get away with replacing the original white ones. I had to replace mine due to the elements taking their toll on them. I think they expect some people to have to do that, and as long as the replacements look uniform I don't think anyone cares.
