Thanks, this may sound dumb but i still have a question

Intake Interview: Oct 29, 2013 --- this is when you recieved the packet? I thought this is when you sat down and reviewed all your documentation. So i guess my question would be aprox date rec packet - CPAT--

Intake Interview is when you submit the packet you receive in the mail. I don't really remember how much time there was between receiving it and the interview but it was def 3 weeks or more. There's a fair amount of information you need to submit that day so they make sure to give you enough time.

Lol I am tough exactly when and where it counts just not a fan of this weather that's all. I'm still running and training in it and have been long before I ever thought of taking the test. Fair enough though on the rip. I knew I was gonna hear it from someone especially after placing it on a tee for the first person to bite.
Regardless of the temperature or weather conditions I look forward to the opportunity of putting on that uniform one day and giving nothing but 110% and all the respect that those before me put their lives on the line to uphold. All I need is one chance and I'll live the rest of my life proving myself worthy of the job and botherhood. Also going to keep my mouth shut in the meantime to avoid getting caught out there again lol.

For you guys that have pretty much completed everything or are OTJ already, how much time could one realistically shave off of their CPAT time from the first timed trial at the Rock to the real thing? I had what I was told was a good time for a first time trial, but I wanna try to shave off maybe a minute or so.

It's easier at CPAT than it is at the Rock. Dragging a hose and a dummy on a smooth floor makes a world of difference.

Based on the list is moving now, I think who ever is in the mid to high 4000's will be in for July 2015.

Followed by 3-5 mile run or in case of this crap weather some Insanity.
I would mix up the biceps, triceps, and shoulder presses. Instead of:
biceps, biceps, biceps, triceps, triceps, etc. do
biceps, triceps, shoulder press, biceps, triceps, shoulder press, etc.

When is the official date when you would need your license by? They say by appointment. Does that mean when you meet investigator or when you get the job?

I'll give it a shot. Was just trying to separate upper and lower body each set just to change it up.

That's good, keep that. But don't do biceps, squat jumps, biceps, mix up the upper body stuff more. Your arms going to get destroyed quick if you try to do 3x25 that quickly.

So based on that 263x will put me in before jan 15. Wishful thinking but I don't think it's close to being accurate

That's what I've been aiming for. To really exert and build up the endurance in the muscles through that. It's been working.
