Just took my poly and physical last week and they are still doing poly's this week. I'm assuming the list hasn't been released yet because they are busy with the poly's and know that the phones at the office will be ringing off the hook once the list is out.

If you don't mind me asking, around what rank are you? Just curious to see where they are on the list. Is this for the January class? I'm still active on the 2010 list but may not make it through as I'm in the 180's. Best of luck to ya!

I was told that early December is when they would be taking packets to the city manager for final approval and that they would be notifying recruits soon after, with the academy starting beginning of January. I'm in the 110's.

I have my polygraph early next week. It is great to hear that the academy is starting in January.

Possibly soon! Just heard all the packets have been processed for the Jan 12class. I missed the cut off for the poly/med/psych by a spot, i.e. I was next up but they got all the cadets they needed. Talk about frustrating and alot of what if's. What if I had a different lotto number, etc etc.

With the 2010 list finished, perhaps they will start working on finalizing 2011's exam list. Hopefully I did well on this next exam and I'll be in the process again.

Anyone try calling the human resources department to ask if results are in? Want to but don't want to be pushy.

I'm assuming that they're focusing on finishing up the paperwork for the last class of the 2010 list. So hopefully we'll hear something soon.

Well look at that! I knew the name looked familar when I looked on the list. Congrats David! For the 2010 list, during the CPAT I went right after the guy ranked #1. Keep focused! You are almost there.

I'm ranked in the low 100's, highest score yet. Hopefully I can make the cut for one of the planned classes. I was in the 180's for 2010 and missed it by a few slots. Good luck to all.

    Best of luck, bro!

Anyone have an idea of how many they'll invite to the CPAT?

For 2009 & 2010 exams SAFD took the top 500 for CPAT and hired well up into the mid/high 100's for 2 academies each from each list from what I recall.

Hey everyone, I am ranked in the 620's. Am I correct in assuming that my scores will not be high enough to move on?

We really don't know until they release the list on who they are taking. From 2009 & 2010 experience, they cut off at 500. Who knows what they will do for 2011, depends perhaps on how big the classes will be off of the list. Good luck, keep trying and don't give up. The first time I took the SAFD exam I was in the same range as you. 2nd & 3rd years I got into the 100's.

Thanks Emode. I do think I could do much better now that I have an idea of how the test is structured. Fingers crossed and best of luck to ya.

cpat orientation schedule is out... they're taking scores of 85% and higher... which is around 340 or so.
