About LinkBacksSt. George man killed in Orem car accident

OREM — A St. George man died and two teenage passengers were hurt after police say the man ran a red light at 800 North and 800 East in Orem Wednesday afternoon.
"(He was) then broadsided by the silver van that was coming through the intersection southbound," said Orem Police Sgt. Craig Martinez. "So the red SUV was hit on the passenger side by the front end of the silver van."
Martinez said the SUV that was hit then rolled on top of another car. The driver of the SUV died at the scene.
The driver's granddaughter was taken by ambulance to the hospital with stomach injuries. Her friend was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
