If history repeats itself, that sounds about correct. Also, if history repeats itself, approx. 5000-8000 will actually show for the test.

They do testing at three or four high schools, on the same day, in two shifts (AM/PM.)

    copy that, FireFuss. Thank you.

It just scared me to see this posted on the Jobs page:

"Attention: Firefighter (10Q36B01) has been cancelled."

I don't remember seeing that before. But maybe that is from the 2010 exam? That is not the exam number as listed on the 2011 bulletin.

I believe that is a warning message from the old test/announcement (2010 version). I don't know the exam number off-hand for the current process, but that 10Q36B01 doesn't follow the current naming conventions. That looks like it says (2010 Quarter 3 Class Code 6B01)

I believe the current test number will be something like "6B01-20110627-OC-01" 6B01 is the "Class Code" the City personnel dept. uses for "Firefighter"; 20110627 is June 27, 2011 - the day the exam was announced; OC is Open-Competitive, denoting what type of test (as opposed to promotional, etc.); 01 is I think the first test for that job class code this year.

SO WHAT? People have been looking for jobs before you, me or Obama was born, and people will be looking for jobs after you, me and him are long gone...

Fuss, ignore him. He's the guy who claimed to have a "gig" in AC, but if you look at the NJ thread, I doubt it. How've you been? Back in FL? Was working OT in Chinatown today with a couple classmates, thinking of you.

HEY DUMB#$@#%@% - I already have a job, and Fuss worked here too. Good luck, with reading comprehension like yours, you'll not be crawling a hallway anywhere near me soon.

Fuss - was working the A with "Gump" and Radar O'Reilly.

What the hell are you talking about? Instead of sitting at your volly house all day pretending that you are on the job in AC and waiting for the big one, go get a job. McDonalds is always hiring burger flippers, Wal-Mart always needs shelf stockers, and there is always gas to be pumped in New Jersey (just wrap a towel around your head.) Stop being a drain on society and the economy and sucking up unemployment benefits, and please, for the love of christ stop posting your drivel in here.

    Default pfd driver

Does anyone know what is required to be a driver for the pfd. I was told it does not matter if you already have a cdl and I would have to take the pfd test
