Just heard about 110 vets are in both classes....does anybody know how many vets made it to the interview process or howany failed to make weight ?

A pretty credible source from what I know, but as far as I'm concerned this too is hear say. I'm just trying to pass some info along because I can't stand being in the dark for this long about something so big.

Finally got an answer for HR ... they said im slated to be an alternate right now ... they didn't get everyones med and backgrounds back yet ... she said in the next few days when they get everything they will know who's in or not ... so if enough of you guys are felons or fat I'll be good lol ... but most likely I'll be hoping for a spring class ... Question for you fellas. Once hires as a PDF paramedic is there any hope of transiting into a firefighter in the future? And second I am tall 6'5" and 295, I am in good shape for a huscy guy and have always been able to pass the Cpat. Just curious if I'm screwed because of my hight to weight. Thanks and good luck

Upper hundreds ... It doesn't explain why people after me got called but this is what they're telling me ... Just telling my story ...

I know of at least 3 people that won't be passing the physical due to weight and I'm sure there are plenty more so you probley have a good shot at getting a call.

I agree. It was the first paper the DR pulled out at 19th and Fairmount when he sat down with me. So it was definitely a contributing factor
