All vets were called......if they are not in the current classes they did not pass some stage of the first hiring process.

188 is a lock, probably March... Still waiting for approvals for 189...
Funny how things can change so quickly... 188 is now off the table due to the court victory for us... So the city will punish us by not having a class and force themselves to pay us overtime... No wonder the city is broke...Quote:

Watched the city counsel meeting in full today guys....
The commissioner mentioned this during his speech about the forced transfer policy:
"Ayers said the policy was developed to meet Philadelphia's specific challenges, including a coming influx of 320 new recruits and the loss of 150 firefighters through retirements in the next year. Ultimately, he said, the department would have a five-year rotation process"
So there are your next two classes ladies and gents > 320-160=160 = 2 more
