Sensear SM1 Volume Issues

Hey All,

My Dept's just got a couple of Sensear SM1 noise-cancelling headsets, attached to Kenwood radios, for our pump operators; and we're having an issue with them.

Noise cancelling works great - standing right at the panel, it's amazing how much noise they block, but speech still sounds reasonable when talking face to face... Inbound radio traffic is clear as a bell... The problem is transmiting on the radio - the PTT button works fine, but what goes over the air comes across as not much more then a whisper!

There doesn't look to be much in the lines of gain settings or anything else that jumps out as being helpful - does anyone have experience with this product?
