Will los angeles county fire department hire me?

I have search over and over and can’t find any useful information regarding Tattoo policies. I am a full time firefighter with a tattoo sleeve on my right arm. Would LAFD or any other big city fire department hire someone with tattoo sleeves?

I will be moving on to a bigger department and was just curious if my art work would prevent me from getting hired. I don’t mind wearing long sleeves, and all of my art work is job related. Any advice would be great.

As long as you wear a long sleeve shirt. No need for them to know.

I have heard that guys with sleeves had to wear long sleeve shirts during their entire tour. I guess it would depend on the attitude of the house (station) and the bosses.
