I am Looking for some material to do a basic pump class that would last 6-8 hours. I had a crap load of material that somehow disappeared from the station in the past two weeks. Anything would help! Thanks!

Get a hold of the IFSTA Pump Operators Manual. Another good resource is MFRI's Pump Ops I manual.

Virginia DFP has a full 64 hour Driver Pump Operator class that's based on the IFSTA materials. They also have shorter Basic Pump Operator (16 hour incl practical skills) and Rural Water Supply (16 hours also) that are sub-parts of this program.
Contact Division Chief Estes (info on link below). He is the DFP curricula manager for all the NFPA 1002 Programs and can send you the BPO material.
FYI - These Division Chiefs actually spend a LOT of time on the road this time of year so e-mail will be your best bet.

I would gladly offer to send it to you myself but I just finished my Train the Trainer class this past weekend and I don't have my copies of the materials yet.Last edited by N2DFire; 08-23-2011 at 09:54 PM.
