Just wondering how different departments set up there box cards in Illinois. We currently have 11 different cards.
1. City
2. Commercial
3. East Rural
4. West Rural
5. Tender Card
6. Search and Rescue
7. Water Rescue
8. Trench Rescue
9. Hazmat
10. Mass Casualty
11. Brush Fire
How do you different departments set it up?
On our Still Alarm for a structure fire(on a good day), we have 3 Engines coming, and 4 Tenders with over 10,000 gallons.
Most of our cards(fire wise) consist of 1 Engine and 2 Tenders. Just wondering how other people set it up.

Mabas Cards
Ours are set up pretty similar.
Box 11 Village
Box 12 Rural N. Of Hwy 72
Box 13 Rural S. Of Hwy 72
Box 14 Medical
Box 15 Forest and Fields
Box 16 Winnebago County
Box 17 Plane Crash
Box 18 Commercial
We have a couple special ones that kinda set us apart. Both of Rockford aiport's runways have arrival and departure paths through our district, since box 17, in fact we have had two small Cessna type plane crashes years back. Also our district has a large chunk in Winnebago county, which pulls resources out of division 8.
Another thing about our cards are that they are very aggressive. By that I mean that I mean they are very resource heavy, especially the first two or three levels. Take our box11, for a fire in the village (with hydrants) By the time we get to the second alarmlevel
we have four engines, two trucks, two squads, four chiefs, two ambulances, three tenders, a RIT and a rehab trailer. This is in addition to (assuming we can get enough people to clear the house) two engines, two tenders, an ambulance and two or three chiefs. Our out look is we can always turn them around. Hope that helps.
