Troy, MI Fire Dept Anyone?

Does anyone here work for the Troy, MI fire department? 180 volunteers with 10 paid firefighters. If so how do you like it? Does it seem to work for you as a volunteer? What would you say are some of your challenges in a huge volunteer department? I am from a volunteer department in AZ and am looking for input from others to see how they run their department and what works and doesn't work for them. Challenges we face are commitment from individuals and quality training.

I'm on TFD, it works well but we do not run any medical calls, as far as fires we have six stations, an two respond to all fires, so alot of FF's show up! Any questions I would be happy to awnser .
