Police vehicle crashes into home; officer trapped
MILLCREEK — A police officer was trapped inside his vehicle Tuesday, after it rolled from the road and into the side of a home, near 3300 South and 2700 East.
Just after 7 p.m., dispatchers reported that the Unified Police officer was "cut off" in traffic, resulting in the accident. Emergency workers are at the scene, attempting to free the officer and a medical helicopter was there to take him to the hospital.
It is unknown if others are hurt from the crash. More information will be posted when it becomes available
