So my volunteer department held a training burn the morning of September 11th this year instead of taking part in a service dedicated to first responders who gave their life in the line of duty at a church in our first due. The members then went to a service for 9-11 wearing dirty turn out gear and smelling HORRIBLE after the burn. Do I have a reason to feel it's a disrespect to the 343 for that to happen? I very upset about this and other in my department don't understand why.

Showing up at a memorial service in dirty bunker gear after a drill is just plain clueless.
Anyone stupid enough to do it is probably never going to "get it.""Nemo Plus Voluptatis Quam Nos Habant"

Someone had their priorities wrong on Sunday!
All the members should vote OUT the officers who set up the live burn on 9-11.
A complete disrespect to conduct a live burn and them make a church services in nasty turnouts.
What a bunch of dumb butts!!!Stay Safe and Well Out There....
Always remembering 9-11-2001 and 343+ Brothers
