    Default New Type 3 Set-up.....

2010 JD 550J on a 2011 IH WorkStar. Just got this unit in service this week, only thing it is lacking is the computer. The State finally seen the light and the tractor is envirocab and AC on the truck. The tractor was on another truck and other than some overheating issues that's now supposedly been straightened out, it has been a pleasure to work in. Haven't put but just a few miles on the truck and once I get the tranny figured out it should be fine also. If I would have had this set up 20yrs ago I would probably still have my hearing. Looking forward to finishing out my 30yrs with these machines.

Looks like the same machine and truck setup the LA Forestry is using.

Looking at how far down the back is riding, and how far up the front is riding, it looks awfully awfully overloaded.

I think that's more of the camera angle and illusion. The front has a load of fender clearance makes it look even worse. It's fairly level for the most part.

Spring, but with that much weight it's a smooth ride.

Thanks. Only problem is that the AC compressor has gone out but should be fixed late next week. Heck of a note on a truck with under 1500 miles.
