Question about laser back surgey

Hi Gang,

I'm pretty much a lurker on the forums and enjoy the information being shared, but I have a question for a brother in my station. He's been off on medical (off duty injury, not on duty) due to a back injury. He slipped and had extreme discomfort followed by a series of exams that have determined that he's got a hereditary degenerative issue. Some nerves in his back run against the spine so he's unable to do more than sit, lay and short walks (just like a dog......)

After four months of rehab, meds and the such, his doc and chiropractor have recommended that he tries out a new laser spine surgery that promises to have him back on his feet in a short period of time (less than a week for surgery/rehab) followed by one week off and then back to work.

The place is Laser Spine Surgery and has four offices from Florida to Arizona.

Now, I ask anyone here if they have used the company and what, if any feedback you can share with us.

I would seek out a known Neurosurgeon in your area. Do a search on the subject and see who is rated as number 1.

Other than that I would walk away from all others who he may have seen.

Only a Neurosurgeon should be the one working on the spine.

My sister had laser in Florida and still has back problems.
