Hey all. My department has a squad that has been converted over from a retired Freightliner ambulance. We are removing it from service and will be putting it up for sealed bid. If you know of any departments that would be interested, please have them contact me. I would rather see it go to a fire department than an individual to use as a service vehicle. Only reason we are getting rid of it is that we are downsizing and do not use it any more. If you all feel this post is inappropriate, please let me know and I will remove it. Thanks and have a wonderful evening.
Kelly

We are looking to take bids on it. As a department we have not set a minimum amount. Due to the situation with funding in PA, we are forced to put it out for bid. This unit really worked out well for us. We ran our RIT crew around in it. It was ideal for that as long as the departments you were assisting had a few extra ladders. We did carry an attic ladder in it. We also have two 4500 air bottles to refill scba in the front left compartment.

Email sent with information. We will be making some type of decision on this vehicle at our meeting tomorrow, Tuesday October 11. I know there have been some bids submitted, so I will see what our membership decides. Thanks for all of you that have contacted me.
