New to the club

Hey all,
Just felt like shouting from a mountain that I finally made it. Been working with a part time Midwest department near Chicago the last two years, went through Academy, EMT-B, FAE, Haz Mat Tech, and am about halfway through Medic school. I just got hired on full time at my dream department. So to everyone who comes on here and is going through the same thing I was, the testing, the classes, the volunteering long hours, the long commutes and despair you sometimes feel, I want to say stick with it! I now am certain I will be one of the lucky few people in this world who loves what they do. Stick with it! It can all change with a single phone call, it did for me!
