I know this was just done on another thread but im doing some research for my department. I'm looking for departments around 150 to 450 firefighters and the average pay for firefighter/EMT, or incentive pay for EMT. Thank you!

Varies from state to state/city to city. By me in western Chicagoland it seems to be the norm that FF/PM on a department that size makes mid 50s to start, and tops somewhere either high 70s or mid 80s. A FF generally makes a % less than a PM, around here its between 5-8%. Lt's seem to make somewhere in the 90s at most places, and BCs are usually at 100K+. Not sure about EMT as most places in IL require PM license.
