Hi guys,
I was going to ask this question on another thread but didn't want to get off topic. So I thought I'd start a new one... I was reading on the other thread where some of you guys were talking about working a 24 vs a 12 hr shift, and how there is "talk" about it possibly changing, or at least the topic has come up, etc.
So my question is, how many (or what percentage) of FL FF's that you know of work more than one FT FF job? Having 5 days off per week, I could see how some of you may want an extra PT job. Now would you (or do you) do this for extra money (out of necessity) or do you guys do it because the schedule allows? Where I currently live (not in FL), many do it out of necessity, so I was just curious what your thoughts were.
