Good question. I would have to assume by February? Seems like they would want to finalize that pretty soon. I could of course be way off though.

Everyone been running lots of stairs? Does anyone know if the academy is 17 weeks without EMT and how long it is with EMT?
i believe it is 16 weeks, without EMT; and i think it's another 2-3 weeks for EMT, full time as well.
Anyone else still in the running from out-of-state? Im trying to figure out how Im going to find a place to rent on what looks like pretty short notice!

It looks like the meetings have changed to entry level poilce hiring talks, If the rumors are correct about a first part of March academy then we have about 7-8 weeks not counting 2 weeks notice to current employers. I hope to meet some new friends in March.

Two different sources within DFD informed me that, end of Feb or first part of March with all the "stuff" crammed into the last few weeks prior.

Talked with human resources today, they confirmed a rumor that we might have March academy. They should get confirmation on that within 1-1.5 weeks. Good luck to everybody!
