Everyone been running lots of stairs? Does anyone know if the academy is 17 weeks without EMT and how long it is with EMT?

i believe it is 16 weeks, without EMT; and i think it's another 2-3 weeks for EMT, full time as well.

It looks like the meetings have changed to entry level poilce hiring talks, If the rumors are correct about a first part of March academy then we have about 7-8 weeks not counting 2 weeks notice to current employers. I hope to meet some new friends in March.

Interesting, I would think they would need to do the medical and stuff in advance with a little time to get results back? Who knows, either way, hopefully this info pans out.

I would check North field or Stapleton, if you want to get crazy its close to park hill but its really expensive that way.

Ghetto commerce city area? that would be the closest(and cheapest) , but i wouldn't recommend.I agree with ColoradoDave, and i'd also check out henderson, Thornton, maybbbeeee Brighton (longer distance, but u shouldn't have any traffics and it could be cheaper as well). Aurora is not too far either

Talked with human resources today, they confirmed a rumor that we might have March academy. They should get confirmation on that within 1-1.5 weeks. Good luck to everybody!
