Study guides for National Certs I&II

At the end of my academy I have to take the FF I and II Nat Cert exams. they are not required in my state nor to graduate, just an opportunity to test out.

For you guys that have taken the National certs, what study guides or sites did you use. After a google search, it appears everyone wants to sell me everything under the sun, hard to make out whats legit and whats not legit.

Check with your state, and see what test book they use, then just go with whomever the publisher recommends or is directly affiliated. It basically all goes with who ever the your academy used for as a textbook.

I just took the FF I. I found that the best book was Essentials of Fire Fighting and Fire Department Operations (5th Edition). A lot of the questions from the written test were from the book. Does anyone have tips or info to do with the FF II practicals? If someones got something that would be great Thanks
