Yes, HDIron883 had some great info regarding TFA. It sounds like a great program, but unfortunately it's shaping up that my work schedule isn't going to be compatible with their weekend training schedule. My only option now is trainingdivision.com and its 2 week bootcamp using my vacation hours. It's not so bad I guess, as I've heard overwhelmingly positive things about their program.
Thanks for the post though, and if I need more info on TFA or South Hays I'll be sure to let you know.

Check out Fire Academy Online. They also have an online course with a week or two of skills at the end. It's a great program.

How's everyone's year going so far? We started off with a bang running 23 calls in a month. This month has us slowed down to catch our breath. Only 6 calls thus far. Should be simple to enter into NFIRS this month.

I think I jinxed us. In one day we ran 4 calls and over the weekend we added about 3 more calls. At least training went well.

We've been busy here too. One fire along with a slow day for the media and I get slammed with phone calls.
