In the State of Ohio,

If you are a member of a Volunteer Fire Department,

Do you have to have a fire card? (VFF, FF1, 2?)

Or can you just have an EMS card? (EMT- B, I , P?).

And,

If you are an officer, what NIMS certifications, fire/ems certifications are REQUIRED?

I am with a Vol dept in ohio with the rank of FIREFIGHTER and what was required of me for the 36 hour ff class for the VFF fire card. the 36 hour class also required a nims 100/ 200 completed before you took the test.
