We have a 5 ton truck we recieved from another department and the hanger bearing (on the driveshaft) is bad. I have searched and searched on the internet for this part and i cannot find one no where, even tried finding the whole driveshaft with everything on it and still no luck.
Do any of you know where i could possibly find parts for this truck??

Also look on Steelsoldiers.com. There are probably a lot of local owners on that site you can either get parts for, or answer any questions you may have.
As a side note Chief, I hope you are up on operating this piece of equipment. Military trucks are notorious for rollovers, and have resulted in several LODD's. PLEASE check out the NIOSH reports, make sure the tank is within the weight limit and baffled, and that your guys get good drivers training. (If you haven't done so already) These trucks can be very useful when used correctly, but deadly when not. As built, they have NO rollover protection.
Have you talked to Jimmy Foreman with your state forestry department? They often have parts, or if they have a turn in of another like vehicle they can take the part off for you.Quote:
