    Default Hiring: Bloomington Fire (Firefighter/EMT-P)

    City of Bloomington, located in McLean County, is hiring Firefighter/Paramedics. High School Diploma or its equivalent, Firefighter II Certification, and Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-P license is required.

    Actually there was a little change with this, only paramedic is required, Firefighter II is not. It was changed in the application packet but not in the website introduction part. Get your apps in there will be at least a few hires from this list.

    Anyone know if the physical is timed? I would imagine it would be.... Because from the physical to the background check, they will drop five candidates. If anyone has any information that would be great.

    The physical is NOT timed. Just pass or fail.
