Dad... This is for you and all of the buddies you lost on the USS Arizona. RIP Pops and I'm thinking of you and all of the others who lost their lives on this day.
I remember it everyday and as long as I live I will never forget it.
I saw on NBC this morning that the Pearl Harbor survivors' group is disbanding at the end of the year because so many have died or are in bad health.
We must make sure that they are always, always remembered.
We should remember Pearl Harbor and the people who perished there but, at the same time, we should remember it in the light of its proper historical perspective; not colored by revisionist history as an "act of terrorism".
