I've been changing out the gas about every four months along with using fuel stabilizer. I had thought about using av gas alot, just hadn't decided it wouldn't burn a hole in a piston.

Have you used it in saws?

Yes,I "stiffen" the oil ratio just a little. I'm not a saw every day guy,the Av gas takes better to occasional use/long storage compared to ethanol(junk) gas. T.C.

Dandy, We have same issues with our type 6 and second due engine. The saw on the engine hasn't really done any work this year, just started and run briefly in checks.

What do you run for mix ratio? and how new are your saws?
