I haven't received an email yet either.. but i just checked my status and it did go from Fail to Pass...

from the thread on California firefighter, they haven't emailed everyone yet as their will be multiple test dates, mine came today and my test date is the 20th

I read an interview with the SD City Chief in this months Firehouse. Said they'll be hiring between 30 and 60 over the next two years. Unfortunately, he also said the city is voting on whether or not to change the retirement system which will mean not only does SD pay well below all the rest in So Cal but their retirement will also be worse than anywhere else. Not a lot of incentive to go to work in such an expensive location.

It wasn't that bad, but I sure took my time. How about yourself?

Definitely took my time also. Not sure about 2 from the oral portion. Other than that feel pretty good.

I thought it was a good test. It was a time intensive test. I thought the mechanical visualization (or whatever you want to call it) was unique and interesting. Otherwise it was nothing out of the ordinary. I felt good about it when I walked out.

I was just looking at the job announcement again and didn't see an interview anywhere. It said written test is weighted 100% and then you move to the PAT (or CPAT if you have it) and then it looks like on to the medical etc. Is there really no interview?? Or am I missing something? If anyone knows, the info would be appreciated.
