Anybody heard anything on how many academies SD plans on running? Number of Recruits in the academy, and possible academy dates?
My status on government jobs just changed to "on eligible list". I thought I would give you guys a heads up so you could start checking as well.
Just checked and mine says the same, anyone have insight on this?
Mine updated to the same. Maybe we'll hear something more detailed in the next couple days?

I got the same status change as well. Waiting for an email to see what the next step is, if there is one.
Just got my email, placed in category 1, Pretty pumped about that
Category 1! Now it's wait and see what comes next :D
Curious how much they gave for veteran preference points.
Five or ten points were awarded depending on your eligibility.

I went through the process in July 2007.
You'll get a letter about a month in advance for a pre-scheduled interview.
You go downtown and you sit in a big room and wait to be called.....dress sharp.
Two Captains ( at least mine where Capts Hayes & Garcia) called my name and took me for an interview. Maybe 30-45 minutes.
Then you get the notification in the mail.

Just did a few RAL's with SD City, per the "roomer-mill" notices for interviews could go out late June early July, really looking forward to it if this is what they do.
So it looks like nobody has gotten an interview time yet? I was starting to worry, as it's been about 4 weeks since we got our results, but it sounds like in the next month or so we should hear. Any word on when academy would start?

Got a call from HR today talking about sending out letters for interviews, wondering if anyone got one?
